We are honored to announce Genesis Rivera as our March Care Pro of the Month!
Genesis has been with Home Instead since June 2024 and has always been an amazing Care Professional providing her clients with incredible care with her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit. Genesis embodies our core values each and every shift.
Genesis' clients family were thrilled to learn she was going to be honored for all of her amazing work and dedication. Here is what her clients daughter had to say:
"The honor for Genesis is well-deserved. Particularly the past two months since my mom’s latest health issues, Genesis has been a calming presence for both my mom – and for all of us. Genesis has been so attentive and caring. We simply couldn’t ask for more! Genesis said it best herself to me – “I take care of your mom just the way I would want my own mom cared for." She’s truly been wonderful, and we are beyond grateful to have her as a member of my mom’s care team!"

"Genesis has been a wonderful part of my stepmom's care team. Since coming to assist my stepmom, Genesis's attentiveness and consistency has been invaluable as she adjusted to her new apartment. I heard from several people over the past few months how Genesis's care has helped my stepmom through the ups and downs of adjusting to her new life.
On a particularly noteworthy day early in January this year, Genesis arrived for her morning shift to find my stepmom unsettled, confused and ill. Genesis arranged for her to be transported to Berkshire Medical Center. She remained with my stepmom throughout the day, past her shift time through all the confusion of the ER, until she was finally admitted and stable. Her consistent and caring presence made a very chaotic situation less troubling. Her presence also gave family members peace of mind despite the distance of us all as she kept us current on changes as the day unfolded, so that we could make decisions as needed.

I just want to say what a huge blessing for not only the team, the clients and family members who picked me for March’s CPOM but also took the time to write such incredible things about me! I love helping people. I treat my Clients the way they deserve. I never look for positive feedback but it sure made my day when I heard so many great things said about me. I treat clients as if they were my own family members in a professional way. Sometimes family can’t be there to help so they count on us to make a decision. It makes a difference when we can come into the homes and give them that form of comfor…
