Ashley made our day today when she stopped in for a surprise visit. She was on her way to the hospital for a procedure and stopped in for many hugs all round. We can confidently report that she is healing, she is in good spirits and she still has her sharp sense of humor. She still has many surgeries to endure so please continue to pray if that's your thing. She needs all our healing thoughts.
Ashley posted an update on her journey recently and she gave permission to share her latest update along with this picture.
Update 10/27/2025: First I would like to thank everyone for the incredible support I have received during this horrific time. I am beyond grateful for everything everyone has done for me. I have been home for a few weeks now, recovering has been a slow and incredibly painful process. However, I am lucky to be home off of life support and feeding tubes. I am still on all liquid diet for the foreseeable future, unable to work also for the foreseeable future, no car, and need many more reconstructive surgeries. Trying to manage caring for my child, and return to semi normal life has been nothing short of a challenge and I have a long way to go as I’m still in bed most of the days. My next jaw surgery will be on 11/04/2025 and my recovery will start again. I will keep the updates coming when I am able to.

Thank you so much for this update and picture. Very encouraging! Continuing to remember Ashley in prayer!
How Wonderful! Prayers and healing thoughts are with you and your family❣️🙏
She was still full of smiles and has her sense of humor and lovng heart
